Seattle: The Beginning
Thought I'd share some of the great things I've found in Seattle so far. I always enjoy discovering a new place, so I'm sort of attacking the city as I would if I were a tourist. There are plenty of farmers markets and restaurants to keep me busy for months. Maybe years!?
First up is shaved ice. I found these at several of the festivals and block parties. I never a knew that a snow cone could be so rough. Shaved ice has become a welcome treat during this warm weather.

Attended my first Seattle Sounders game. The crowd was rather intense for a soccer match in the U.S.

The Sunday Ice Cream Cruise is only lacking in the ice cream part of the experience. No sundaes? Cone dips? It's a nice 40-minute tour on Lake Union. It reminded me of summers in Michigan. It was an incredibly relaxing boat ride.

The Mariners' game was surprisingly captivating!

Back to basics
Pretty geeked about this beta. Graduation is around the corner, so I can finally get back to dominating on XBL!
